I drove to New Orleans, La. yesterday and picked up my trophies from my 2011 African hunt. After returning home is disassembled my crate and then assembled my trophies. I am very pleased with their appearance and look forward to properly displaying them as time allows. Looking at the mounts and rugs truly stirs a lot of good memories of a great adventure. The hunter’s “Christmas Morning” draws to a conclusion of a hunt when the crate finally arrives and is excitingly opened..
Many people will hear the words or speak the word “went on an African hunt” but will never realize what goes into a successful hunt. All I really did was drew a bow back and released an arrow as the opportunity availed. Each of you were a major factor in making my hunt a success. Each of you had invested interests in the success of my adventure. I thank each of you, your family members and/or your staff for contributing to making a great memory for me.
I have no idea when I will return to Africa to hunt again, I simply pray that it will not be in the too distant future. Attached are photos after everything was unpacked from the crate and assembled.
I offer my name to each of you as a reference, if needed.
Many thanks and may God bless,
